Peanut Butter Popcorn
Snacks are a must for kids and for us adults too! 😋
Popcorn is simple to make (although don't be fooled, I have burnt several pots along the way - don't get distracted! 😝) and by adding a few extra ingredients, this popcorn is delicious! 🤩
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/3 cup popping corn kernels
- 1/2 tsp peanut butter powder
- 1/2 tsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Method:
- Heat a pot on medium heat (with a tight fitting lid).
- Add coconut oil and once melted, test the oil is warm by dropping in a corn kernel. If the oil is warm, the sides of the kernel will bubble. If there are no heat bubbles, wait until the oil has heated.
- Pour kernels into pot and place lid on the pot.
- It only takes 2-3 minutes for the kernels to pop. Once the popping slows down, remove the pot off the heat (so you don't burn the popcorn).
- Add peanut butter powder, sugar and salt and stir through the popcorn.
- Enjoy!
